Flyers have already been distributed to:

 

  • Smyrna Rest Stop

    • Please only post them in the following areas:
      • Bathrooms
      • By the ATM
      • On the picnic area building & the vendor machine building near the truck parking
    • Tape the signs only to the brick or cinderblocks – NOT to vending machines, signs, railings, etc.

  • Homestead Gardens

    • Please leave new copies with the manager on duty to update the old flyers with new ones

  • Other Locations

    • Valero (across from Rest Stop)
    • Advance Auto (Rt 13)
    • Smyrna Library (Main St)
    • Royal Farms (Rt 13)
    • Wendy’s (Rt 13)
    • Wiley Farms (Rt 13)

Restrictions on distribution of flyers

  • Do not place flyers in mailboxes.  It is illegal to place non-USPS letters or parcels in someone else’s mailbox!
  • Do not attempt to put flyers at residences that have No Trespassing or No Solicitators / Solicitations signs present.
  • If you wish to hang a flyer to a telephone / power pole
    • You MUST only use TAPE (Masking / packing) to attach the signs.  Anything metalic OR sharp is a risk to linemen who may need to climb the pole
    • If you are attaching the flyer to a street sign, please either
      • Use the back (non-reflective) side and use tape
      • Tape a horizontal strip of cardboard to the top and bottom of the flyer, and then tape the flyer to the sign POST.
      • Do NOT tape to the reflective (front) side of any street sign – removing the flyer may permanently damage the sign!
